RPG Limit Break is a charity speedrunning marathon being held in Salt Lake City, UT. Speedrunners from across the US, Canada, and Australia have gathered to crush role-playing games and support charity. RPG Limit Break is partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a US-based charity which advocates for the mentally ill and provides support services for individuals and families living with mental illness.
During the event, we're encouraging you to donate directly to NAMI. By donating, you can vote with your wallet to name characters or to get speedrunners to complete difficult challenges. You can also become eligible to win prizes donated by community members. Your donations will go to both the national organization and the UT-based chapter of NAMI, supporting programs focused on teens and young adults.
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, was founded in 1979 as a grassroots organization focused on making better lives for those with mental illness. Through the use of education, advocacy, and research, NAMI aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and bring hope to those in need.
